I told you there were lots of Fabulous goodies! WOW!!! 🤩

Here are the cards I want to share made with these sets!

First up is Beautiful Birds by Melanie Muenchinger:

I can’t wait to use the Beautiful Birds in this set, but I was drawn to that Big Bird Nest with those beautiful eggs all nestled in, so that is where I started. After stamping the nest and coloring the eggs with copics, I used a few colored pencils to add more color to the nest. Ink Blending the sky and stamped the branch and flowers in Whisper then colored everything with copics.

Beautiful Birds

For this card I colored in Copic stamped the Nest in two colors and finished it with PrismaColor Pencils. Did a little Ink Blending on the background too. Here is a list of items used:

Next I couldn’t wait to make an Easter card for my Grandkids. The Some Bunny stamp set from Beth Silaika was just what I needed. I did a little ink blending for the sky and grass. The fence is one I have had in my stash that I did a little ink dragging and die cut then layered them up for a sturdy fence. I added a little flower from Lisa Hetrick’s Fearless Joy set.

Here are the items used for this card:

I purposely stamped the flowers and their outline offset. I like that fun look and I cant wait to spend a little more time creating with this set. So many ideas so little time! 😊

Gina K. Designs Beautiful Wings Stamp Set

I have really Enjoyed coloring these two Big and Beautiful Moths that are in this set Beautiful Wings set by Melanie Muenchinger. Here is a look at the set and Coordinating Dies

Both of these cards were colored with Faber Castell Polycromo Colored Pencils

I am new to these pencils and they have been looking at me from across my crafty room for a while, so I thought what a better time to pull them out and play. I have found with these I need to build more layers and that is what I will practice on going forward with these pencils. ❤

The first one, I checked out images on the net to get a good idea how it was colored. This is my version.

This Moth is HUGE! Here are the items used to make this card:

This is the second card using the Polycromo Color Pencils. It is a Fantasy Moth! I just wanted to do some blending with Blues Turquoise and Greens for this one. Then it was easy to make a ink blended background using my Gina K. Designs Inks for this card. I also wanted to lever the front clean and so I aded the greeting and sentiment all on the inside with a little decorating. 🙂

Here is a list of items used:

Thank you so much for stopping by and Have a Great Day! I hope you take a little time to get inky!

Gina K. Designs December 2020 Monthly Mix Challenge

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the Season and good cheer!

This month I am hosting the Monthly Mix Challenge over at Gina K. Designs.

I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do for your challenge then I remembered the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

Some of you have done this type before but if you haven’t here is how it works.

Just like in tic tac toe you want to have three in a row.

Horizontal, Vertical or Diagonal and then those will be the three elements you use for your card.

You can use ribbon or bling as they aren’t in one of the rows.

Which row will you pick? Have fun and I cant wait to see what you chose to create.

Here is the chart:

For my first example I used the Diagonal (Emboss Resist – Square – Velum )

Stamped and Heat Embossed and Emboss Resist with the Red Velvet Ink, Die Cut into a Square, and Used Vellum for my greeting.

Items used are listed near the bottom.

My second sample I used the ( Circle – Square – Tag ) Diagonal

I used the Mini Wreath Builder and made a wreath for my circle, Cut in a square and layered with a square foiled background. On Top of a Tag.

Here are the items used other than the Vellum, Twine, & The foil – Mate Greeting on the tag.

To play along you can click > Monthly Mix Challenge Have a great day and I hope you take a little time to get inky! ❤

Gina K. Designs & Pear Blossom Press Collaboration Hop 2020

Welcome to the Let’s Glow hop with Gina K Designs and Pear Blossom Press!

We’re sharing beautiful cards with a double-wow factor; they feature the beautiful stamps and dies you can only find from Gina K. Desigsn,

and they all light up! (Don’t worry, that part is easy with the help of Pear Blossom Press’ EZ-Lights.)

Be sure to hop along with us for lots of inspiration; our designers have come up with some gorgeous cards…

First Photo you can see the cool EZ-Light package from ( Pear Blossom Press) and this one has enough lights to make up to 5 cards.
I am using Gina K. Designs Welcome Home stamp set and Coordinating Dies.
Did a little Ink Blending on a panel for the background using Denim Blue, In the Navy, & Edible Eggplant.
Used some white for the splatters. I Colored the House, Branch and Bird with Copics.
I also stamped the Heart in Red Velvet Ink and hand wrote the push on there.
Then I used a Versa Mark Marker and added Gina K. Designs Puffy White Embossing Powder to create the snow on the roof. Did a little arranging to see where I wanted the images to go. Once I decided I attached the Branch, and the bird. Poked the holes where I wanted the lights to come through.

***********

In the photo below I have added the twine, the Greeting that I stamped in Obsidian Amalgam Ink and attached it with Foam Squares that I cut in half. Then I poked a hole to mark where I wanted the button for the lights to go (This was just so I could tell from the back where to put it) . I then made two more holes where the birdhouse will go. I put one light through the first hole, you can see I am pointing to that little yellow dot. The two other lights are pulled through the bottom hole. (I’m putting those two lights in the birdhouse and the single one will be closer to the top of the birdhouse. ) Then I attached the heart with a piece of Foam Square and flipped the panel over and added the light mechanism over the hole I made. I used a piece of Terrific Tape to hold it in place. Next I used Foam Tape around the edges to pop up the panel and taped down the lights. It was so easy to do. 🙂

Here is my Finished Card

To check out the Lights or to shop can click the Photo below.
