Hello and Welcome to Karen's Creative Designs. I have been enjoying making cards for about 6 years now. I started out making Scrapbooks for the Grandkids. Searched You-Tube for techniques for background and found Gina K.Designs. I was hooked and just had to make cards! I have always been one to have a craft of some sort to do. I have done some crochet, jewelry making, pottery, cake making, ect.... you get the picture! I am hooked on card making and I love that it brings a smile to someones face when they receive a handmade card!

  1. Your cards “seal the deal” on my need to own the Ocean-Minded kit! Really love your style, no matter which media you choose….thanks for sharing!

  2. OMG what wonderful cards. I love how you’ve paired the stencil with the border with just the sentiment. The vellum is very pretty on the ocean mist and the fussy cutting is beautiful. However, I think I do like the white on the Kraft better (maybe because it’s less work) Great beach scenes too. Thanks for the awesome inspiration.

  3. Love the beach scenes.
Using the starfish to make a wish
is fun. So many great cards.
    thanks for sharing

  4. Ocean Mist!
And I can’t believe you fussy-cut the florals on the vellum. That’s genius.

  5. Wonderful cards. I love your beach scene — for some reason those footprints warm my heart. Lovelly designs and wonderful colors.

  6. I love the Ocean Mist card Karen. It’s so delicate looking. Your other cards are great also.

  7. Your cards are sooooooโ€ฆ beautiful! I’m loving the Wildflower Frame dye. I laugh when I see the dotted swiss embossing folder because Gina uses it and says it is her favorite embossing folder.

  8. All your cards are wonderful! I especially love the “Happiness comes in waves” card!

  9. your beach scene is simply STUNNING!!! how did you get the white mixed inthr out the top!!! do u have any instructions for that card??? I ordered the whole kit!!!

    1. Hi Jean, I stamped the waves upside down in White Pigment Ink and used a Site Gel Pen to add some stronger white lines and to make the stamped ones stand out a bit. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for asking!

  10. Your beach is beautiful and the sky is lovely, I also love the star fish card itโ€™s so cute… all the cards are inspiring.

  11. I love the cards and especially the white embossed wildflower frame cards. I love the look of white on kraft. It looks so sophisticated.

  12. Fantastic cards! I really love the little scenes you created using Rina’s stamp set and the kit

  13. All of your cards are beautiful! It’s hard to choose between the Kraft and Ocean Mist, but I think I would go with the Ocean Mist.

  14. I love just about anything on Kraft, so that one wins for me! The vellum is a great idea!

  15. Liked the interpretation of the waves touching the sand using your imagination to turn the stamp around.
